Let it Snow

I just wanted to do a quick post today. I came across this digital stamp I created in 2020 called Catching Snowflakes. At the time I was trying to capture all the nostalgic feels about being a kid playing in the snow.

Playing in the snow with my brothers and friends was just the best. We had sleds, snow disks, skis, and cardboard made a great replacement for a sled to go downhill on. Obviously there'd have to be a snowball fight or two. Sometimes we'd stay outside too long and our fingers and toes would start to numb. No one wanted the good time to come to an end.

A few years ago when we had a really good snow fall, my friends and I along with their children took to the hill behind my house and we had so much fun sliding down that hill.

My granddaughter is almost three now and has yet to see a proper snow day. I can't wait to see her enjoyment when (whenever) we do get some snow and we can slide down that hill. One thing is for sure, you're never to old to enjoy snow. Play in it, slide on it, sled on it, walk on it, or simply just look at it and enjoy how beautiful it is.

Come on snow!!!!
