Yesterday I attended a stamp/scrapbooking show that comes this way the same time every year. The last few years have been a bit disappointing, there are fewer and fewer vendors. However, the main one that I'm always interested in is Stamper Anonymous and Tim Holtz products, thankfully they still come.
My shopping list for this show has also been getting shorter and shorter each year. Instead of spending the entire day there and possibly going back today, I was finished shopping and looking withing two and a half hours, just sad!
Anywho, I did find this cute stamp from Impression Obsession.
Of course I had to play with it as soon as I got home. I started out with an art journal page that already had a background started on it. This one had the perfect combination of colors on it for this stamp.
I stamped the image on a piece of Tim Holtz collage paper (that I also picked up there) and then tore off edges around the image. Flipping the image over, collage medium was used to adhere the image to my page. As you can see the collage paper is thin enough for the background to show through.
Next I added Tim Holtz Oxide Inks on top of the image to blend it into the background. Highlights were added next, and I called it done. That cat has the best view, wouldn't you agree?
Thanks for stopping by today. Until the next blog...enjoy!
